Proud to support the Heritage Network 2025 Conference
Julian Lomas
Over the years we have developed a valued and growing cluster of heritage sector clients, principally supporting the development of charity and CIC governance models. We’ve now worked with over 30 heritage clients, including:
Conducting governance reviews.
Setting up new charities and non-profit trading structures
Supporting governance improvements, including through the development phase of National Lottery Heritage Fund backed projects.
Delivering board development and training programmes.
Regularly assisting the Architectural Heritage Fund with due diligence and providing governance and other support to their beneficiaries (including participants in their Heritage Development Trust programmes).
Advising on partnership and collaboration arrangements.
Advising parish churches on proposals for enhanced community use of their historic buildings.
In a nutshell, we help future proof heritage organisations and keep them on the straight and narrow, in which can be a complex area of charity law and governance. Our values-led support is always bespoke - never off-the-shelf - and pragmatic, recognising the capacity challenges many small non-profits face.
We have been a member of the Heritage Network for a few years and are proud this year to be sponsoring a bursary for an early career professional attendee at the 2025 Conference - a community heritage networking event in Bradford City of Culture at the end of September 2025.
